With a new executive leadership team led by former Starbucks Executive, Andrew Alfano, Retro Fitness provides investors and franchisees with a full suite of services including real estate site selection, construction, world class training, live in-club support, an in-house marketing agency, accounting services, a call center, and more, to deliver a turnkey club.

    SUMMARY

    A hand’s on strategic position in a fun, rapid growth fitness franchise organization. This person will work collaboratively with the Executive Team while providing inspirational leadership to the broader marketing organization. They will be directly responsible for all marketing functions, brand, communications, public relations as well as have a towering strength in digital marketing that will drive overall success in all areas of B2C and B2B. They will also oversee our in-house media agency which directly supports our franchisees and their clubs.

    This person will develop and implement all marketing and brand tactics/strategies in an organization 100% dedicated to helping our franchisees drive revenue and profitability. The position is responsible for meeting/exceeding sales goals while adhering to budgetary guidelines. They are fully engaged with strategic customers, accounts and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Provide leadership for the day-to-day marketing and sales team, while maintaining focus and drive results against the company’s strategic goals

    Provide leadership, direction, coaching, inspiration and mentorship to marketing team and broader corporate team

    Craft strategies and tactics that complement the CEO/Company’s vision all while seeing execution through to completion/results

    Research, develop and implement strategic plans that identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development

    Supervise the planning and development of all companywide marketing and communication assets and collateral

    Responsible for all corporate communications, both internal and external

    Provide leadership and supervision over the company’s Ad Fund, as well as the Franchisee Ad Fund Committee

    Public Relations – lead and work directly with external PR Firm, supervise all efforts for the brand, as well as community outreach

    Participates directly in professional and industry organizations, in sales activities with key accounts, and in trade shows for B2C and B2B

    Directly manage, partner and maintain all relevant vendor relationships

    Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Build and lead a high performing, world class marketing team

    Responsibilities include training and development of employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; support and follow up through execution; appraising performance

    Coordinates on-going training for marketing team, inclusive of product knowledge, selling and collaborative negotiation skills.

    Ensures consistent use and execution of CRM tools to ensure continuous improvement that drives strong results

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

    Varies based on need, but estimate not greater than 20% plus conventions and conferences

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

    Job is based in West Palm Beach; this is not a remote position

    Franchise experience is a must

    7+ years’ experience with a proven track record of strong results in a Franchise Organization, B2C/B2B

    Technical expertise in web, digital and app design and development

    Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts

    Ability to build and motivate high performing teams, seen as positive, inspiring leader and partner to peers

    Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters preferred or relevant experience
