Responsibilities: • Calculate construction materials, product costs, labor, and time to estimate overall cost for construction projects • Follow up with clients on submitted proposal and budgets • Interface with the construction project manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors • Frequent construction sites to gather necessary client requirement information • Prepare estimates, written proposals, budgets, costs, and updates for clients and project managers • Qualify bids invited through various platforms with suitable contractors • Maintain a minimum annual gross margin set forth in the department Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry - project estimating or construction management is needed • Possess a Bachelors’ degree in civil engineering, construction management, accounting, or related field • Extensive experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and construction estimating software • Understanding of accounting, data and risk analysis, research methodology, and estimation metrics is vital • Excellent project management, time-management, and communication skills are necessary Compensation: $22 - $28 hourly
