This Software Developer posting represents an upcoming position on our fast-growing Agile-based software development team. We are in search of full-stack developers who can write high quality code, particularly in Microsoft technologies such as C# .NET and SQL Server, while having growth potential as a future leader on our team. We are open to developers with varying levels of experience, anywhere from two years of experience to ten or more. We plan to have the selected person start in November 2017.

Essential Functions / Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Participate in software development projects, including design, development, requirements review, managing scope, and managing personal deadlines.

Develop database-centric web applications, including our customer-facing application and internal tools.

Follow architecture and coding standards, and produce technical and functional business documentation.

Design, implement and maintain our Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant ecommerce platform

Support and enhance deployed systems using both custom and configurable open source code.

Recognize system deficiencies, and suggest and implement effective alternative technical solutions.

Participate in product design, estimates and timeline management.

Daily participation in stand-up meetings. Participate in other Agile meetings, including Sprint demos, Sprint planning, and Sprint retrospectives. Commute to and work in an office environment.

Required Skills and Knowledge

BS Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

2-10 or more years’ overall web development experience with the following technologies (see note above regarding multiple positions being open at this time):

C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, SQL.

Full stack Web development (front end, web services, database layer)

Back-end development, including web services, SQL, and database design.

Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.

Strong analysis and problem solving skills. Self-directed, detail oriented, creative problem solver.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge

Experience with the following tools and technologies is preferred, but not required:

Microsoft Azure

JSON, jQuery, Ninject, Newtonsoft, SQL Server, Entity Framework, CSS media queries, CSS box-model, Telerik Kendo UI, Angular, Bootstrap and RestSharp

Git/Bitbucket

Test-driven development and unit testing

PCI and Web application security
