    • Perform transmission systems studies including but not limited to:

      • Load Flow
      • Short Circuit
      • Stability (Steady-state, transient, voltage)
      • Reliability
      • Generation Interconnection
    • Study the capacity of distribution and transmission circuits for interconnecting renewable projects and perform injection studies to optimize the location of resources.

    • Provide recommendations for preliminary sizing of solar PV, wind, and energy storage plants.

    • Build transmission models in alignment with ISO case development

    • Provide expertise in regards to regulatory issues dealing with transmission

    • Assist in the procurement of projects and marketing as an ambassador for the company.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, TRAITS, AND SKILLS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or applicable field of study, Master's Degree preferred.
    • A Professional Engineering license or EIT is required.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience.
    • Experience with ISO/transmission provider (CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, PJM, NE-ISO, amongst others)  interconnection processes and requirements.
    • Experience with PSSE, EMS, PSLF, TARA, or other transmission planning software.
    • Experience with model development in multiple regions would be beneficial.
    • PE certification preferred.
    • Experience with performing steady-state, short circuit, and transient stability exploration is preferred.
    • Experience with performing Sub Synchronous Studies is preferred.
    • Knowledge of performing economic dispatch and congestion studies would be beneficial.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Efficient time management –handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision including prioritizing, organizing, and planning effectively to meet all deadlines.
