Job Description

We are seeking a Data Center Engineer to become an integral part of our development team! You will design strategies for database systems as well as set standards for operations, programming, and security.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Ongoing AWS/GCP and Private Data Centers with Custom Applications
• Professional Level Linux, Reverse Proxy Administration, NgINX Skills
• Unified Communications Service Applications
• Operational Expertise with Virtualization and Containers/Kubernetes
• Perform Application, System Updates and New Installations (CICD with Development Team)
• Monitor system performance, alerts, and functionality with management and 3rd party vendor(s)
• Provide technical assistance to technical leads both internal and external
• Adhere to Defined Architecture and Security Guidelines

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in data center operations with an emphasis on security and compliance
• VMWare and Networking Certifications Required
• Experience with both private and cloud services
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication and follow up skills
