  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for organizing laboratory production of custom-made surgical stents. You will be required to track and manage a multi-step process, work in a digital environment, and learn to operate/manage/maintain a 3D printer.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Manufacture custom medical devices using a rotary tool and manage a multi-stage complex production schedule
    • Post-process 3D printed dental models
    • Perform quality inspection of medical devices
    • Digitize orthodontic study models by using optical 3D scanning technology
    • Perform maintenance of laboratory equipment
    • Monitor and maintain inventory levels
    • Operate and maintain CAM production equipment (eg 3D printer, mill. Full training provided)
    • Ensure 100% on-time delivery 
    • Update and maintain a digital record database
    • Shipping, receiving, and logistics tracking
    • Basic incoming phone support
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    SKILLS & RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma, AS/BS Degree, or equivalent.
    • 0-2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Any experience in dental, CAD/CAM, 3D printing, or Xray is a plus
    • Work experience in a team setting 
    • Must be proficient with computers
    • Problem-solving skills.
    • Good powers of observation.

    DETAILS OF POSITION: 

    • Part-time hourly position reporting to the Chief of Operations
    • Shifts: Flexible, (But will need to be in the office daily during training & No Weekends) 
    • The position will be on-site, located in San Francisco, CA.
    • Training will be provided on-site
    • Paid sick-time
