    Job Description

    REVEL ENERGY is looking for talented and motivated team members to join our Project Development team. This representative will work with our Solutions and project team to develop commercial and industrial renewable energy projects to the highest standards we believe in.

    We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills who is not afraid to get in front of new prospects and make cold calls. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales or project development and be motivated to excel as a top performer. This is a technical sales role, and we will teach the right candidate the necessary skills to be successful. A great attitude and willingness to learn is of utmost importance for this role.

    This position is based out of Irvine, Ca. Client meetings, site visits, and canvassing will cover LA, Orange County, San Diego County, and Inland Empire.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible for researching, prospecting, and qualifying leads.
    • Develop opportunities by researching and identifying potential prospects; building rapport; providing technical information and explanations of product offering
    • Responsible for following up with prospects
    • Engage current network to expand awareness, educate, and ask for referrals through existing contacts, previous customers.
    • Attend conferences and will require networking with groups related to identified sectors.
    • Conduct site visits to understand proposed project locations at the proposed site.
    • Identity, meet, and present to clients ranging from facility managers to C-Level “executives
    • Collaborate with the solutions team to ensure all the necessary details are provided to generate an accurate proposal
    • Cultivate client relationships while progressing them through the sales cycle from initial contact to contract to sign
    • Coordinate with solutions and project team through the entire sales cycle
    • Meet sales quotas set forth by the management team

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Sales or Business Development: Minimum 1 Year (Required)
    • B2B Customer Service: Minimum 1 Year (Required)
    • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
    • Self-motivated individual with strong time-management skills
    • Demonstrated business judgment and individual initiative while also able to be effective in a multi-disciplinary team environment
    • Strong communicator with the ability to adapt to different environments and communication styles
    • Willingness to put in the necessary work every day without immediate results
    • Able to cultivate sincere relationships with customers, vendors, and networking partners
    • Attention to detail and the ability to consistently follow-up and follow-through
    • Proficient financial modeling experience using Excel is preferred

    KNOWLEDGE OF THE RENEWABLE ENERGY INDUSTRY IS PREFERRED THERE WILL BE SIGNIFICANT CLIENT INTERACTION AND, OF COURSE, A HIGH DEGREE OF PROFESSIONALISM REQUIRED.

    COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Mixed commission and salary compensation structure. TOTAL COMPENSATION EXPECTATION:

    • Year 1: $60,000 - $85,000 (BASE PAY: $36,000 - $52,000 DOE)
    • Year 2: $85,000 - $115,000
    • Year 3: $115,000+
