Job Description:
A Revenue Accounting Intern will be responsible for supporting our Accounting and Finance team in a variety of projects including, but not limited to, researching accounting data, creating solutions for unique problems, auditing across the enterprise, and information analysis.
This Revenue Accounting Co-Op is a long-term internship opportunity, up to 1+ year(s). This opportunity will be based out of Atlanta, GA and it is 100% remote. This Revenue Accounting Co-Op internship will provide the selected candidates with invaluable insight to corporate/enterprise Accounting and Finance.
How you will make an impact:
Supporting vital month-end close functions, projects, and Accounting/Finance initiatives
Researching accounting data, audit support, and information analysis
Balancing data within various billing systems
Creating data deliverables for key stakeholders
Assisting with ad-hoc Accounting projects
Participating in opportunities to do innovative work within the enterprise
Minimum Requirements:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related major at an accredited college/university. A Junior (1st semester) or rising Junior candidate is preferred.
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours a week for the duration of the co-op internship (est. 1-2 years for eligible candidates), with optional flexibility for full-time work during the Summer.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Familiarity with accounting concepts as well as the preparation of low complexity journal entries and reconciliations is a plus
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel and Access
Candidates with a passion for Accounting and Finance with a dedicated work ethic are preferred
