We are seeking a Revenue Cycle & Compliance Manager to oversee our financial operations, ensure compliance with funding sources, and manage HR-related functions.
Position Summary
The Revenue Cycle & Compliance Manager will be responsible for managing insurance authorizations, revenue cycle processes, compliance with state and federal laws, HR functions, payroll processing, and financial oversight. This position requires expertise in ABA billing, funding sources, and state law compliance to ensure smooth financial operations and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Cycle Management & Financial Oversight
Oversee insurance authorizations, ensuring accurate requests and entries in the CRM system.
Manage billing procedures for ABA services to ensure timely reimbursements.
Set up and maintain provider banking details for electronic payments (EFT).
Track and reconcile payments (Check, Cash, VCC, ERA, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
Establish and implement cash flow management policies to maintain financial stability.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to drive company growth.
Collaborate with CPAs to ensure timely tax filings and compliance with financial regulations.
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
Compliance & Audits
Ensure compliance with state-mandated laws, including Workers’ Compensation, liability requirements, and insurance regulations.
Maintain compliance with federal and state labor laws.
Manage insurance credentialing and payor audits in collaboration with leadership.
Ensure all client records are complete and up to date for audits.
Human Resources & Payroll
Assist with HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Process payroll timely and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Conduct performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.
Oversee salary reviews and ensure equitable compensation structures.
Address employee grievances and implement disciplinary measures in collaboration with leadership.
Administrative & Operational Support
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Respond to company emails promptly during the workweek.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and company events.
Participate in special assignments and ad hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ABA billing (Applied Behavior Analysis; Applied Behavioral Health, Autism Spectrum Disorder , Behavioral Health field)
Familiarity with ABA HR/Compliance, revenue cycle management, and funding source compliance is required.
Strong knowledge of state laws, insurance regulations, and financial management.
Experience in HR functions and payroll processing.
Familiarity with electronic billing systems, ERA reconciliation, and financial reporting.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
