    Job Title: Revenue Cycle Insurance Supervisor
    Location: Sebring, FL (On-site)
    Relocation Assistance: Available
    Pay: $50,000–$55,000 + Bonus

     

    Position Summary

    Frontline leader overseeing daily hospital insurance A/R follow-up, collections, and denial resolution. Supervises staff, ensures productivity and compliance standards, and supports payer strategies to optimize cash flow.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership & Accountability

    • Supervise hospital insurance A/R and denials staff

    • Coach, train, and monitor productivity and quality

    • Address performance issues and assist with onboarding

    • Escalate complex issues to management

    Hospital Insurance A/R & Denials

    • Oversee insurance follow-up to meet aging and cash goals

    • Support denial prevention and appeals (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)

    • Assist with complex/high-dollar claims

    • Identify denial trends and recommend improvements

    Payer & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Serve as escalation point for payer disputes and underpayments

    • Partner with Coding, CDI, UR, Case Management, Registration, and Compliance

    • Participate in denial reduction and first-pass improvement initiatives

    Performance & Compliance

    • Track KPIs (aging, denial volumes, resolution timelines)

    • Ensure accurate, audit-ready documentation

    • Maintain compliance with CMS and payer regulations

    Physician Billing (Secondary Support)

    • Support professional insurance A/R as assigned

     

    Qualifications

    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)

    • 1–2 years hospital revenue cycle experience (A/R & denials)

    • Prior lead/supervisory experience preferred

    • Knowledge of hospital reimbursement and payer regulations

    • Strong coaching, communication, and accountability skills
