    Job Description

    As a Revenue Manager you will be responsible for both strategic and tactical initiatives related to revenue optimization, effective pricing strategies, channel distribution, analysis, evaluation and resources necessary to achieve resort top line revenue and profitability objectives. Assist National Director of Revenue Management in any other requested projects and initiatives.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Drive market share and revenue performance through proper pricing and effective management of distribution channels.
    • Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels that will yield the highest profitability.
    • Ensure effective pricing strategies are in place that demonstrate asset strength relative to the competition in each market.
    • Effectively manage inventory and pricing in all distribution channels including Property Management System, Direct Web, Global Distribution System, OTAs (Online Travel Agent) and Third-Party Sites.
    • Closely monitor competitive pricing and understand impact of relative pricing decisions on property performance.
    • Facilitate group block management process to ensure contracted blocks are being maintained, forecasted, yielded, and released at appropriate times.
    • Support key partners in order to implement a results-driven action plan to yield during high demand periods as well as implement strategies during low demand periods to shift market share.
    • Lead weekly revenue meeting with Rental Sales team.
    • Communicate and coordinate with Inventory team to maximize rental availability and fulfill consumer demand.
    • Monitor weekly performance reports to analyze and drive market share.
    • Create and implement promotional offers and packages over distressed periods.
    • Maintain and develop partnership with all OTA and Third-Party Sites market managers.

    • Must have prior Revenue Management experience.

    • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Detail-oriented, hands-on, team player with strong interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written required.

    • Effective ability to motivate and develop staff.

    • Must demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and self-confidence.

    • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
