About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and passionate Video Editor & Shooter to join our team. As a Video Editor & Shooter at Reverb Films, you will play a pivotal role in capturing, creating, and shaping video content for our diverse range of clients. Your creative prowess and technical expertise will contribute to the production of high-quality videos that tell stories, convert customers, and captivate audiences.
This is a full-time, salaried position based in Bend, Oregon, with an 80/20 hybrid work structure (80% in-office, 20% remote WFH).
About You:
Education & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Film Production, Communication, or Multimedia) and/or 4 years of professional experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- You have a background working in-house at an agency, brand, or production company, consistently delivering high-quality video content.
- Experience with a variety of cinema/mirrorless cameras.
Specific Knowledge
- You're skilled in all areas of post-production, including editing, pacing, storytelling, color grading, stylizing, motion graphics, and sound design.
- You can execute different video styles, from narrative/documentary to highly stylized commercial spots.
- You excel at project management and can successfully juggle multiple projects at once.
- You have a great eye behind the camera with an understanding of composition, exposure, lighting, and camera movement.
- You have experience with lighting, sound, and other production departments.
- You're capable of creating short-form social video that converts.
- You have a good grasp on typography, visual style, and graphic design.
- You have working knowledge of motion graphics.
- You're dedicated to delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations.
- You possess the courage to tackle challenges and step out of your comfort zone when needed.
Essential Responsibilities:
Execute end-to-end video services, encompassing all stages of production, including pre-production, production, and post-production.
Pre-Production
- Actively participate in pre-production, including client meetings, understanding project vision, script writing, storyboarding, location scouting, creating shot lists, logistics planning, and prepping gear.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external teams to identify and conceptualize video content needs.
Production
- Film/shoot high-quality footage, demonstrating an eye for composition, lighting, motivation, and creative direction.
- Manage cameras, lenses, and additional equipment during productions.
- Execute lighting setups during productions and ensure high-quality audio recording.
Post-Production
- Manage the entire post-production process of various projects, from initial organization and assembly to color grading, stylizing, motion graphics (MGFX), sound design and mix, finishing, optimizing for social media, and final content delivery.
Overall Responsibilities
Consistently meet or exceed project deadlines.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies in video production to
improve quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and clients
throughout all production phases, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and
creative direction.
Adhere to Reverb Films' SOPs, including proper software use, organization of
storage, and equipment upkeep.
Requirements:

- Ability to work on-location in Bend, Oregon.
