    Job Description

    ABOUT THE JOB:

    The Sales Professional will Generate IT (Information Technology) sales and business, develops relationships with new clients, makes sales visits and presentations, maintains advanced knowledge of products and services, and establishes and meets sales goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develops and expands a portfolio of clients by networking and marketing
    • Assesses client IT needs and makes recommendations, including IT equipment and service packages
    • Prepares sales visits and presentations to pitch product, service, and combination packages to clients
    • Demonstrates IT equipment to highlight product benefits (ie. IP Phone Systems)
    • Negotiates sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
    • Provides technical advice after sales Establishes sales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals
    • Tracks progress toward goals and documents sales performance through organized sales records and report month-end goal setting to senior management team
    • Becomes fluent in all products and services offered by the employer through testing, demonstrations, and research
    • Answers questions, describes benefits, and discusses pros and cons of various competing products or services
    • Gains familiarity with the IT industry, and stays updated on trends and innovative products
    • Creates marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time sensitive sales
    • Attends trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales
    • Works with technology manufacturers, software manufacturers, IT consultancies, and technology solutions organizations
    • Works with team to respond to various RFPs Contribute to overall customer satisfaction by promptly answering emails and keeping customers informed of delivery and install dates
    • Collaborate with senior staff in weekly meetings

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proven Sales track record
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Experience with analytics and online advertising, and proven success in the creation of marketing campaigns
    • Must be able to travel to other Revere locations and capability to maintain a clean driving record
    • Working knowledge of MS Windows, Excel Spreadsheets, Visio and CRM
    • Demonstrated ability to assist senior management and sales representatives with any additional work as needed
    • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new sales with customers, including add-on services
    • Be strongly skilled in organization, problem-solving, customer service, and multitasking while being committed to excellence
    • Must have strong communication skills to create and distribute company-wide newsletters and memos
    • Must be a strong proposal writer
    • Must be able to assist in all sales and marketing campaigns as needed, particularly through presentations and site inspections
    • Ability to work various hours and attend all sales strategy training conferences off and on-site
    • Ability to meet goals and work under pressure Travel to existing client locations in other states
