Job Description
Revere Electric Supply Company, a well-established electrical automation distributor and market leader, is seeking an experienced Rockwell Portfolio Software Engineer to assist in the delivery of multi-discipline industrial automation solutions based upon our Modernization Continuum that focuses on Rockwell Automation solutions such as their Connected Enterprise. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in the entire lifecycle of an automation system including all aspects of the software stack inclusive of industry-standard software used such as Microsoft, VMWare, ERP applications, FactoryTalk, Ignition, PTC, KepWare, as well as other Automation software packages used to assist in the manufacturing process. Knowledge in functional safety, automation networking, and PlantPAx though not a must, would be key to be considered a top contender for the position.
Rockwell Portfolio Software Engineers will report to the Services Director within the company and be mentored and trained by the Lead Technical Sales Consultant. Major responsibilities will include such things as the implementation of software into the control’s environment, implementation of the software into the server farm that controls the plant floor and provides visualization across the entire plant spectrum. He/She will be the technical lead in the solution delivery of projects sold that help customers achieve their business goals. The prospective candidate must possess a tenacious desire to win and have the intellectual ability to create tailored, cost-effective solutions that positively impact our customers.
This is a local delivery position and not a remote job thus the candidate will need to live and work withing the Southeastern WI and/or Northeastern IL territory.

Qualifications:
A team-oriented individual who strives to serve the customer
Must possess a four-year technical degree
Must possess minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial automation software market
Have the ability to troubleshoot an entire automation system
Ability to coordinate and support customer needs through sales, manufacturer, and personal intervention
Excellent communication skills
Must be process oriented to drive projects forward
General plant and technology safety experience needed
Proficient with Windows based operation systems and Microsoft Office Suite, Rockwell Automation Software products, PLC/EOI/HMI, Automation Networks
Self-Motivated Individual
Understanding of industrial automation protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, DNP3, MQTT, and OPC
Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.
Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the United States is required
Fluent in English
Willing to travel locally to client’s sites
