The Rental Agent is responsible for creating and maintaining successful relationships with landlords and closing rental inquiries efficiently. Responsibilities: Process contracts with tenants and collect security deposits to ensure closing of the deal Confirm rental application data and personal references to ensure accuracy Advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotional materials to help secure quick rentals of all properties Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of customers in order to match those needs to a property Prepare for market changes by researching local rates and calculating costs to ensure competitive and fair pricing Qualifications: Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel and Publisher Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written Good knowledge of leasing rules and regulations • Working knowledge of Appfolio or other Property Management software systems • Must have a valid Real Estate license or be willing to obtain one within 90 days of employment Compensation: $36,000 + commission opportunities
