About Us: Revive Physical Therapy & Wellness is a growing PT-owned patient-centered outpatient orthopedic practice in Tempe, AZ. We currently have 3 PTs and 1 PTA, and we envision adding 2 more PTs at our Tempe location. We also would love to extend our reach by opening an additional clinic in the East Valley. Revive's core value revolves around creating a fun, professional, and result-driven environment for staff and patients. We feel strongly about educating and empowering our patients while treating the root cause of their problems. We love fostering a love for health and fitness to help our patients unlock their innate ability to heal and live a more pain-free life. The heart of our therapist-owned practice is providing quality physical therapy to our patients while maintaining a great company culture and healthy work-life balance.

Treatment Philosophy: Our treatment philosophy is firmly based on movement science with a test-treat-retest approach. Our treatment approach blends Maitland, PNF, and McKenzie's approaches while emphasizing overload and specificity principles. We believe in performing a thorough evaluation to identify the patients' goals and pertinent impairments that are causing their problems. Once relevant goals and impairments are identified, we apply movement science by utilizing active and passive manual therapy and prescribing therapeutic exercises with overload and specificity principles in mind for optimal therapeutic response. Exercise is medicine; just like medicine, it must be dosed appropriately for the best results. We minimize modalities and do not use a cookie-cutter approachโ€”no bike, tens, ultrasound, or cold/heat pack assembly line.
