About Us: Revive Physical Therapy & Wellness is a growing PT-owned patient-centered outpatient orthopedic practice in Tempe, AZ. The core value of Revive revolves around creating a fun, professional, and result-driven environment for staff and patients. We feel strongly about educating and empowering our patients while treating the root cause of their problems. We love fostering a love for health and fitness to help them unlock their innate ability to heal and live a more pain-free life. Providing quality physical therapy to our patients while maintaining a great company culture and healthy work-life balance is the heart of our therapist-owned practice.

Treatment Philosophy: Our treatment philosophy is firmly based on movement science with a test-treat-retest approach. Our treatment approach blends Maitland, PNF, and McKenzie's approaches while emphasizing overload and specificity principles. We believe in performing a thorough evaluation to identify the patients' goals and pertinent impairments that are causing their problems. Once pertinent impairments and goals are identified, we apply movement science by utilizing active and passive manual therapy and prescribing therapeutic exercises with overload and specificity principles in mind for optimal therapeutic response. Exercise is medicine; just like medicine, it must be dosed appropriately for the best results. We minimize the use of modalities and do not use a cookie-cutter approach—no bike, tens, ultrasound, or cold/heat pack assembly line. We value our patient's time and only perform pertinent interventions to meet their goals.
