    Job Description

    REVOLT Media & TV creates and curates the best in hip-hop culture and engages youth in social conversation – on-air, on-line, and on-demand. This unapologetically hip-hop, multi-platform network offers original and acquired programming for linear and digital platforms as well as live events and activations across the country.

     

    The_ MANAGER, AUDIENCE DEVELOPMENT _will ensure the brand is dramatically growing our reach across digital distribution.   There will be a focus on paid media, video distribution and email tactics to drive awareness, views, and traffic to programming and brand partnerships. This role supports the audience development team and reports into the Director of Audience Development. 

     

     

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Proactively identify, establish, and execute relationships with content/traffic exchange partners  -- creating recurrent collaborations that drive audience acquisition - inclusive of (but not limited to): affiliates, barters, swaps with publishers, distribution platforms, and content creators.
    • Manage and grow audience to our video content, including but not limited to: leveraging video distribution partners for native promotional opportunities, identifying and coordinating with new distribution partners, assisting with programming coordination with video producers as needed to support partners.
    • Able and willing to test quickly into new ideas, measure success, and pivot as needed to sustain growth momentum
    • Develop best practices for launching new programming across REVOLT 
    • Manage media budgets for internal REVOLT promotion and ad sales commitments
    • Work and collaborate closely with Ad Sales, to drive traffic/views requirements for partnership deals.
    • Work with content, creative, social and editorial teams to develop a schedule for program promotions
    • Work with analytics team to develop and distribute weekly, monthly and quarterly traffic reporting.
    • Develop relationships with paid media partners to drive amplification for major initiatives. 
    • Plan and maintain email calendar with stakeholders, ensuring timely deployments, test and iterate email formats, cadence, imagery, etc. to ensure highest possible engagement and open rates.
    • Maintain database of creative specs across a core group of platforms/vendors.
    • Work with the site tech teams to implement pixels

     

     

     

    WHO YOU ARE

    • 3+ years of full-time experience in audience development, content partnerships, and/or paid marketing in digital media/publishing or in support of content/distribution platforms.
    • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally, specifically with editorial, brand, content, and other partnership colleagues.
    • Experience working closely with content teams.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and provide action-oriented insights.
    • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain and translate work into intuitive and simple communications.
    • Experience with multicultural and/or video audience growth is a plus.
    • Experience working with or for media platforms that serve diverse audiences a huge plus.
    • Passion for REVOLT’s brand and programming.
