Job Description: Revolt is looking for a motivated controls engineer with a background in embedded software development and validation in the field of automotive or other industrial sectors. The engineer will be responsible for
Support development activities for next generation hybrid powertrain solutions
Contribute to system development activities like, capturing voice of customers, developing requirements and validation plans
Play key role in vehicle system bring up and validating functionalities at vehicle level
Clearly document
Min Requirements:
Model based development using Matlab Simulink
Experience with rapid prototyping tools such as Raptor tool chain or Open Ecu or others
Working knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN/J1939
Experience with communication and calibration tools such as Vector CanAlyzer, Canape or other similar tools
Capable of understanding of wiring diagrams and other electrical engineering artifacts and providing review comments
Previously implemented key functionalities such as Cooling, Propulsion system, vehicle accessories control
Experience with on vehicle testing/debugging and performing calibration of various vehicle functions
Nice to Have:
Experience with class 8 trucks
Understanding of engine interfacing requirements
Knowledge of tools such as git, jira, requirements management tools
Experience with programming/scripting languages such as C/C++, python.
