Job Type: Full-time Responsibilities: • An apprentice glazier assists with the installation of shower doors, windows, mirrors, commercial storefront and other glass products while developing the skills and experience to eventually perform installations on his/her own. Typical glazing skills and tasks include: • Measuring openings and reading a tape measure • Carrying glass (up to 100l b) • Calculating sizes utilizing fraction addition and subtraction • Fabricating (cutting, polishing, drilling) glass • Interfacing with customers and project managers Qualifications: • Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must be able to drive a vehicle • Applicants must be able to pass a drug test • Applicants must have the mechanical aptitude(must be able to read a tape measure, must be able to understand verbal and written directions, must be able to use hand tools, and must understand basic construction concepts) • Applicants must be willing to work hard and work overtime (a few hours a week when necessary)
