Qualifications
ABOUT YOU- KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
ABILITY TO:
- troubleshoot machines to diagnose problems
- demonstrate knowledge of basic electrical codes including knowledge of pulling wire, electrical components, switches, high voltage, and control centers
- read and interpret schematics, plans, and operating manuals
- fit fluid lines and pipes
- assemble and disassemble parts and systems
- “think outside of the box” and figure out problems associated with production operations
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to work overtime and weekends as workload dictates
- Must be able to verbally communicate with team members, supervisors and Engineers
- Must be able to work in confined spaces
- Must be able to work with solvents, oils and grease
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical training and certifications a plus
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years minimum of skilled trades or like experience with mechanical stamping presses
- minimum of five years experience managing a team
