    Job Description

    CLASSIFICATION/DESCRIPTION BRIEF:

    The Logistics Specialist is responsible for planning components and FG based on ChrP production scheduling and customer orders utilizing the standard lean logistics (Bosch Production System) processes.

     

    PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:.

    • Entry of customer purchase orders and management of change requests.

    • Planning of procured components and/or finished goods.

    • Releasing and scheduling of production orders to satisfy OEM’s demand.

    • Active management of customer complaints including problem resolution and                    implementing corrective actions.

    • Submittal of formal customer quotes and issuing returns for credit.

    • Management of customer payment disputes and debits.

    • Frequent contact and follow up with customer and sales to guarantee high level of              customer satisfaction.

    • Analysis and tracking of key planning parameters, i.e. order changes, inventory levels,      premium freight etc.

    • Maintenance of planning and ordering parameters in MRP system.

    • Analysis and follow-up on planning reports, i.e. open order, forecast, inbound receipts,      shipments, inventory etc.

    • Expedite and follow-up of in-house production and procured material.

    • Coordination of new product releases with customer and production plant.

    • Monitoring of goods receipts, inventory levels and master production schedule to ensure    availability of components and finished goods for customer shipments.

    • Application of CIP methodology to consistently improve planning processes and                performance to customers.

    • Maintenance and development of key suppliers.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or minimum of 10 years relevant work experience.

    • 4 years planning experience.

    • SAP experience.

    • BPS or equivalent Lean production/logistics techniques.

    • Comprehensive knowledge in production and inventory control methods.

    • Analytical ability to review fluctuating demands and to minimize production changes and        inventory investments.

    • MRP knowledge.

    • Computer skills: MS Office, SAP.

    • Strong communication skills.
