Job Description
This is an internship. Remote work is not available.
The intern will have exposure to processes to design, develop, validate, and implement methods and tools to improve operational flexibility and execution lean production systems; exposure to development and implementation of methods for material ordering, communication, transportation, packaging and distribution throughout the supply chain; exposure to evaluation of lead time throughout value stream; develop standardized work instructions for logistics associates.
Qualifications
• Many of our current associates are obtaining degrees in the following areas: Logistics Supply Chain Purchasing/Sales or Engineering • Relevant study / work experience in engineering is preferred • Good knowledge in using ProEngineer for creating CAD modeling / engineering drawings is an advantage but not a must • Good computer skill in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint • Good command of spoken and written English
