Job Description

This ONSITE INTERNSHIP will work with a multicultural and multidisciplinary team for continuous improvement and launching manufacturing projects working with manufacturing engineers as well as the production area. In addition, will support with the follow up detail activities and prepare management reports to ensure the launch of continuous improvement projects (CIP) and ramp up of new improvement measures according to standards and timing.

• Development of training material Project Management for Charlotte facility and coordination of the training with direct and indirect personnel using the TWI methodology.
• Creation and publish database of Project Management indicators as well as developing a tracking tool for all project activities for Charlotte location.
• Perform a current snapshot of the ongoing projects and develop an improvement strategy together with the launch manager project responsible and project team.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management (ex: Shopfloor Management Cycle, production daily management)

Qualifications

• In process of Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, industrial Engineering, or related degree.
• Desirable course work and willing to support knowledge in Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics and / or Technical Functions (Ex problem solving, lean manufacturing,  etc)
• Academic project management experience, desirable knowledge of dashboards such as PowerBI.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Power Point, Excel, and Word
• Customer oriented and team working
