Intern - Human Resources (40 hours per week)
Job Description
This internship is for 40 hours per week and is planned to go through May 2020.
As an HR Intern within the DC Corporate HR department, you will be involved in both tactical and strategic projects intended to further our achievement of our overall goals.
DCUS/HR is the main point of contact for HR associates in North America and also in our IL, MI, OH, TX, WI and CA locations. We serve as "corporate" HR and also as HR Business Partners to the above.
We work in partnership with HR Service, RBNA HR Process Owners to help support in the deployment of HR initiatives. We educate our managers and associates on HR processes and HR technical tools, and help to trouble shoot as required. We are the first face to our constituents and we will work with you to allow you to develop by doing - a bit of everything HR!
Qualifications
Completion of a Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related OR status as a minimum of a "junior" in progress toward the same. Prior related internship experience is preferred. MS Office skills at a minimum of "intermediate" and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
