JOB SUMMARY:

• Complete daily production records and  logs and summarize all blow molding records to    report metrics for previous day to management

• Monitor  machine efficiency and ensure all equipment is operational and conduct all quality checks required

• Manage machine process efficiency initiatives, scrap minimization, materials conservation

• Follow all safety rules and position standard operating  procedures

• Assist in the start up and shut down machine procedures

• Perform mold changes and process adjustments per work instructions

• Maintain a safe clean work environment, to include but not limited to overall cleanliness and appearance of the machine area

• Troubleshoot and fix any problems with the blow mold or low tonnage machines

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATIONAL AND TRAINING PREFERENCES:

• 3 years manufacturing experience required
• Associates Degree in a related field preferred but not required
• Must be able to speak, write, and read English
• Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office , strong communication and leadership skills required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• 10% sitting, desk type work / 90% on the production plant floors walking, standing and engaged in the activities associated with the role

• Must be able to team lift a minimum of 50 pounds, 25 pounds alone

• Be able to work in an environment that is climate controlled but is exposed to potential heat, rain, and cold

• Be willing to work alternate shifts to cover responsibilities based on the needs of the business

• Be able to meet all above noted expectations in the Job Summary

EXTERNAL APPLICANTS MUST:

• Be able to satisfactorily pass a background screen and drug screen
• Be willing to meet the physical requirements above and work overtime as needed, sometimes with minimum notice (including some weekends and holidays) to cover responsibilities based on the needs of the business
• Be able to pass a basic eye acuity exam within 2 weeks of hire
• Be willing to work alternate shifts to cover responsibilities based on the needs of the business
• Be able to meet all above noted expectations in the Job Summary

Hours: M-F with O.T. as needed  2pm-1030pm

Pay: $14-$17/hour to start
