    REPORTS TO: Human Resources Manager, Chief Financial Officer/Head of Human Resources, RGA Executive Staff

     

    SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Human Resources Assistant is expected to facilitate the administration and day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department for Reynold Greenleaf and Associates, LLC and applicable clients. The Human Resource Assistant position is meant to support the Human Resource Manager and Head of Human Resources through the maintenance of people-based relations. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: being the connection point of communication, maintenance of employee documentation, employee on-boarding and off-boarding, employee relations, and risk management/compliance.

     

    Success in this position is dictated by exemplary organizational, communication (written and verbal), self-motivation, and discretionary skills. This is a full-time position (30-35 hours per week).

     

     

    EXPECTATIONS OF POSITION:

    1.     Exceptional communication and documentation of all interactions, issues, and decisions made within the Human Resource Department.

    2.     Knowledge of the Polices and Processes of the Human Resources, with the ability to enact and follow the procedures as described.

    3.     Continuous mitigation of liability having to do with benefits, employment, employee conflicts, hiring, and terminations. Those in this position must also maintain a high level of ethics practices.

    4.     Superior discretion, respect, and compliance with applicable laws, as well as individual considerations.

    5.     Understanding of the goals and vision of the organization, including staffing goals, employee morale, corporate social responsibility, and the policies and procedures of the organization.

    6.     Maintenance of continuing education, including Human Resources, employment law, employee benefits, and other applicable fields.

    7.     Reliable form of transportation.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION:

    -       High school diploma or equivalent.

    -       Passing state and federal background checks, according to company policies and state regulations.

    -       A Valid New Mexico Notary Public Certificate

    -       A Valid New Mexico Driver’s License

    -       Proficiency in computer programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.

    -       Strong written and verbal communication, whether in person, over the phone, or via electronic or written correspondence.

    -       Excellent Organizational Skills

    -       Superior Attention to Detail
