Description As a Contract analyst on the IT Asset Management team, the person is involved in the management of software licensing, compliance, maintenance renewals, software audit defense, and software portal management life cycle planning. Key Qualifications bull Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or 3+ years of equivalent experience bull Excellent customer service, communication, analytical skills bull Complete understanding of hardware software lifecycle management bull Effective management and organizational skills bull Strong familiarity with IT terminology, technologies, processes, and management bull Ability to work on multiple projects, priorities, and tasks independently bull Ability to learn new skills and innovate to increase productivity and efficiency bull Excellent problem-solving skills detail oriented bull Ability to respectfully deal with colleagues at all levels within the company and represent the company externally bull High aptitude in documentation of processes, procedures, definitions, and work-flows bull Experience with IT Asset Management Tools (ServiceNow, HP Asset Manager, Flexera, etc.) bull Hands on knowledge of Service Now platform and IT Service Management bull Strong understanding of queue management, ticket routing and triage processes bull Understanding and interpretation of software licensing terms and conditions bull IAITAM, CHAMP certifications preferred (not required) bull IntermediateAdvanced Excel skills Responsibilities Include bull Manage and execute the contract renewal process, ensuring software contracts are reviewed and renewedterminated in a timely manner. bull Partner with clients across the organization to assess software licensing needs and requirements bull Work with software vendors to acquire updated software quotes and agreements. bull Work with purchasing team and Supply Chain to execute software purchases bull Identify savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing, and services. bull Collect information for budgeting, software compliance inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons. bull Manage the enterprise license position for software publishers bull Develop and maintain working relationships across multiple functions to support software asset management throughout its lifecycle bull Ensure compliance by comparing deployed software against license entitlements bull Manage requests from end-users to fulfill software-licensing needs and answer queries bull Stay informed of new and updated software license models and options for key vendor products bull Monitor software usage to reduce risk of noncompliance bull Assist in the analysis, design, or re-design of compliance processes, software procurement processes, and license management processes (harvesting, deployment, and retiring of licenses) bull Develop processes and procedures to automate the collection, storage and reporting of key software data so that the products can be managed across the enterprise in an effective manner bull Createassist in the maintenance of document repositories for software contracts and purchases bull Measure improvements through meaningful metrics, KPIs, and QBRs Immediate start six month contract engagement with likelihood for extension.
