    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    CONTENT PORTFOLIO MANAGER

Rialtic is on a mission to transform how healthcare transactions get analyzed  and executed, starting with provider billing and claims payment.  We'll accomplish this by empowering and equipping payers and providers with technology enabled solutions. Our robust platform enables our clients to produce private or select public content (rules based insight engines) and accurately execute these insight engines in their workflow to ensure accuracy.  This enables payers and providers to regain more control over payment accuracy processes currently being addressed by other external services firms.  Rialtic brings together the best of people, technology, innovation and culture to achieve high performance results at lower costs.

Rialtic is looking for an experienced subject matter expert to build and manage a portfolio of "content" that is the basis for our solution.  This content would be derived from a wide array of reference sources, both public, private and unique.  These would be in a searchable database, and built upon "Insight Engines" which are microservices programs for each unique item.  These Insight Engines essentially are the technological code that makes the policy/content work within the data, whether it be for payment policy, clinical guidelines, coding rules, etc.

The Content Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Insight Engines (e.g. Medicaid, Drugs & Biologicals, DME, Duplicates, etc), including initial development and ongoing updates based on source changes.  The development activity includes source validation, functional designs and documentation, community engagement, and operational best practices.  This is a player/coach role managing a team of subject matter experts (employed, contractors, gig workers) who are qualified to develop these functional designs and specifications.  A critical part of the model is to build and align a community of subject matter experts motivated to deliver high-quality insight engines for clients.  The actual coding of Insight Engines will be done by internal or community developers.  The key responsibilities of the Content Portfolio Manager are:

    • Develop a Portfolio Plan to guide the development of Insight Engines
    • Determine the resource needs to achieve the development plan and the best approach to engage the resources (employed, independent contractors, gig workers)
    • Build and manage a "core team" of subject matter experts to develop functional designs and specifications for your Portfolio of Insight Engines
    • Lead the development and maintenance activities by example - spending at least 75% of time creating functional designs for new Insight Engines and maintaining existing Insight Engines
    • Collaborate with other Content Portfolio Managers in the development of  "Training Guides" that show how to successfully develop Insight Engines based on experience and market feedback (e.g.engine curation methods, metadata classification)
    • Help match content subject matter experts with Insight Engine developers
    • Support Clients who are developing their own content with training guides and consultation
    • Engage with Development Partners (early client adopters), prospective clients and current clients to get market feedback on development priorities and desired innovations
    • Create "Content Challenges" to the content development community to speed innovation of concepts
    • Prepare and present management reports on the status and progress of activities against goals

    SOME OTHER KEY ATTRIBUTES

    • Adapts easily to changes
    • Ability to work with remote teams
    • Fact-driven in analysis and recommendations
    • Curious to learn and explore new approaches
    • Player / Coach management style
    • Efficient work habits – ability to focus on what matters most
    • Obsession with client value
    • Demonstrated strength in talent selection and management
    • Strong execution skills and action bias
    • Strong analytical skills and experience in structured design techniques
    • Project management skills
    • Medical coding knowledge
    • Payment accuracy experience
    • Unbiased in interpreting policy source material
