OVERVIEW

RICHARD K. WOOLUMS, located in Nicholasville, KY, has been an agent with State Farm since 1967. We are seeking an experienced customer service insurance representative to join our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, quoting, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
• Please note: This is a service position, no cold calling.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively relate to customers
• Detail oriented
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Must be respectful and maintain confidentiality of clients and agency
• Ability to multi-task
• Active KY Property & Casualty Insurance License is REQUIRED
• Active KY Life Insurance License is a plus
• State Farm experience is a plus

AS AN AGENT TEAM MEMBER, YOU WILL RECEIVE:

• Salary (commensurate with experience)
• Four-day work week, with exceptions (Typical Schedule: 9 am - 5 pm - Mon, Wed-Fri - No Tuesdays.)

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $27,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year

• Personal lines insurance: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Insurance Producer License (Required)
