    RICHARD SANDOVAL HOSPITALITY is looking for a talented GRAPHIC DESIGNER to support the brand management, sales, marketing, communications and digital initiatives of our multi-concept hospitality group through the conceptualization, design and development of brand touchpoints and creative strategies for our properties around the globe. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand identity, color, graphic design and production art techniques to join our Corporate Marketing team. You’ll be responsible for bringing all of RSH’s brands to life through visual storytelling across multiple touchpoints. A strong design portfolio demonstrating work in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator are key. And, most importantly, you need to be a great teammate.

    RESPONSIBILITES

    • Develop high-quality creative (for online and offline channels) that brings Richard Sandoval Hospitality’s brands to life in alignment with brand and business objectives.

    • Consistently apply brand and style guidelines; ensure compliance with all internal policies and federal/ state/local regulations regarding marketing materials.

    • Protect the brand by leveraging best practices and meeting the highest level of creative and brand standards across all channels.

    • Partner with internal teams and external partners to foster a collaborative process, environment and culture of creative excellence.

    • Push the boundaries of design to deliver communication and visuals that excites and engages target audiences.

    • Manage multiple projects and adhere to established schedules, ensuring quality standards are met; adhere to production requirements while working with outside vendors; organize and maintain library of key art, logos and content updates.

    • Partner successfully with key stakeholders across multiple business lines to understand products and services and translate business objectives into effective and compelling creative design.

    • Assist in the creation of all restaurants branding, menus, marketing, and promotional materials.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive and execute projects and campaigns.

    • Create and update various brand marketing tools and sales decks.

    • Assist in restaurant marketing photo shoots.

    • Assist in maintaining brand standard guides and brand packages for all new and existing concepts. Monitor and enforce application of style guides across all platforms.

    • Optimize imagery and support with light retouching, color correction and editing of photography as needed.

    • Track and manage expenses to meet budget on a period, quarter and annual basis

    • Participate in marketing meetings as requested by the VP and Director of Marketing

      • Present graphic design development plans
      • Report on ongoing initiatives; gather feedback and adjust as necessary
    • Design, develop, manage the distribution and monitor inventory of print materials including but not limited to

      • Menus
      • Posters
      • Flyers
      • Postcards
      • Print ads
      • Branded marketing materials
    • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on the design, development and distribution of all digital collateral including but not limited to

      • Email blasts
      • Creative for web sites
      • Social media creative posts and ads

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related field required
    • 3 years relevant experience in creative field required; Retail and/or Restaurant industry experience preferred
    • Strong online portfolio reflecting print, traditional and digital design experience required
    • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite
    • Experience in print production and digital design
    • Strong understanding of design, copy, typography, layout, photography, and effective use of marketing materials to communicate messages to the consumer 
    • Strong understanding of digital media including social media, website, app, etc.
    • Strong, audience-focused design capabilities in both print and new media.
    • Ability to understand/follow creative direction and incorporate constructive feedback
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills with an ability to work within strict deadlines and quick turnarounds
    • Team Player who is also independent and self-motivated

    The Creative Services Assistant Manager is responsible for the design, development, distribution, inventory and performance assessment of print and digital collateral, marketing materials, and any other creative assets required to build awareness, drive traffic and increase revenues at RSH restaurants.
