    Job Summary

    The Help Desk Intern provides prompt and courteous support to our staff on all company supported applications by answering requests/questions concerning equipment, software and hardware. The Help Desk Intern addresses all user inquiries and complaints with the highest degree of professionalism and product knowledge. Position located at our North Ridgeville, Oh facility. April-August.

    Essential Functions:

    • Installs new PC equipment and software per company specifications, policies and procedures.
    • Troubleshoots hardware and software issues and makes needed repairs.
    • Assists end users with software training as needed.
    • Develops user documentation for improved user efficiency.
    • Performs maintenance on printers, copiers, fax machines, scanners and RF equipment.
    • Maintains Help Desk application utilizing ticket handling processes.
    • Escalates critical issues through appropriate channels.

    Education and Training:

    • High school degree or equivalent required.
    • Actively working on an Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
    • Excellent proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications.
    • SAP experience highly desirable.
    • Strong working knowledge of desktop and laptop functionality.
    • Microsoft certifications desirable.
