    We are seeking a Finance Client Service Associate to join our team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving technical issues.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced—and friendly—financial planning office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations. The operatings manager/financial advisor assistant will primarily assist the two financial advisors in the financial planning workflow. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities. This role provides client relationship support through managing, gathering and analyzing client data, helping prepare preliminary financial plans and other client deliverables, working with clients to resolve issues and other practice management tasks as needed. Responds to a wide array requests, coordinates/tracks projects and/or manages business-as-usual projects such as organizing a client seminar. This role is onsight as a great deal of in person communication is needed. Clients come into the office routinely, so it is neccesary to be present. Flexibility is certainly an option once fully onboarded.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Handle customer inquiries
    • Provide information about the products and services
    • Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
    • Document and update customer records based on interactions
    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of the evolving products and service
    • Prepare charts, graphs, tables and other visual aids to be used in implementation meetings with clients
    • Call clients to confirm and create appointments.
    • Answer phones (2-5 calls per hour)
    • Maintain client contact during the financial planning process (maybe, depending on work load at time)
    • Answer questions and provide readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts.
    • Review and update client information as needed for client review meetings.
    • Attend and participate in client meetings if necessary.
    • Assist advisors in trading in accounts
    • Manage and resolve client service problems
    • Perform other allowable duties as assigned by the financial advisors

    ​QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
    • Ability to build rapport with clients
    • Ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Positive and professional demeanor
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

    LISCENSING:

    If you are looking to become an Financial Advisor, or work in a similar field, you are likely going to need a series 7 to progress in your field. If you work here here for 1 year, we will sponsor you for your series 7.
