Must have Knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment and hardware used in lifting and transport operations
Flexibility to work evenings, weekend and overtime as needed
Must pass fit for duty assessment, drug tests and background check
Previous experience working with cranes or similar environment
Proficient in operating forklifts, book trucks and hoists
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
Possess or be prepared to obtain level1 and level 2 rigging certificates
Be able to pass a DOT Physical
CDL would be an advantage
Responsibilities
Be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up and dismantling equipment, and ensuring the proper and exact placement.
Inspect the rigging equipment and hardware
Collaborate with a team to plan ad execute the rigging operation
Be able to perform the rigging activities for lifting and transporting the desired heavy equipment and machinery using the equipment needed (hoists, cranes, forklifts ect…)
Ensuring proper placement of the load
Ensuring there is no damage during transporting or loading
Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations and industry standards
