Rigging Technician
Location: Hagadone Marine Group

Reports To: Production Manager / Shop Foreman / Rigging Lead
Position Overview
The Rigging Technician is responsible for getting new & used inventory boats ready for delivery
to customers, & performing warranty repairs. This position works closely with the sales & service
department on delivering the best customer service by ensuring that each newly purchased
vessel is fully functional & ready to use.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform pre-delivery inspections on new boats.
● Install & test accessories such as batteries, safety equipment, ballast systems, & any
other dealer installed components.
● Inspect hulls, engines, steering, electrical systems, & fuel systems for any issues.
● Prepare boats for water testing & verify proper operation.
● Identify & report defects or issues to the warranty department & service advisor.
● Ensure all deadlines are met based on the schedule outlined by the Rigging Lead.
● Maintain proper documentation to ensure any warranty claims can be filed & processed
properly.
● Work shifts that vary depending on the season which includes evenings & weekends.
Qualifications
● Must have a strong attention to detail & problem solving skills.
● Ability to follow direction from the Rigging Lead.
● Experience using hand & power tools.
● Good teamwork & communication skills.
● Must have basic hand tools to start & be willing to invest in necessary tools in the future.
● Must be willing to learn & grow in your mechanical knowledge.
