    Right Stuf, Inc. is an independent video publisher that specializes in packaging and distributing pre-recorded programming to English-language audiences – from Japanese animation (anime) to foreign live-action content.

    In addition to selling its own publishing division’s products, Right Stuf, Inc. also resells and distributes anime-related and Asian live-action merchandise – including DVDs, Blu-ray discs, books, apparel, artwork, audio CDs and more – on behalf of other North American suppliers.

    Right Stuf’s unique position as a publisher, distributor and retailer gives it a distinct advantage in the anime marketplace, as it operates in both the business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors. Right Stuf is the largest of North America’s anime-specific retail and distribution companies, selling products both direct to fans and to other retailers, via its web site, phone and mail-order. It also provides business services for firms throughout the North American anime industry, from phone banks and data entry to demographic research, the creation of online storefronts, and more.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Resolves customer inquiries and issues through WOW service. Will take inbound/outbound calls, respond to emails/cases, facilitate web chats, type letters to mail to customers, and handwrite notes of appreciation each week. Wow both internal and external customer through all interactions.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Respond to customer verbal or written contact

    • Notate customer accounts regarding any conversations

    • Ensure address and payment information are correct in the system

    • Maintain an upbeat, fun, and professional attitude throughout all interactions

    • Able to explain and address varied situations to diverse customer base

    • Ensure that inquiries are resolved to customer satisfaction

    • Handle shipping claims for missing or damaged orders

    • Handle and facilitate the return of products from customers who have issues with orders

    • Input catalog orders into the system

    • Liaise with internal departments such as IT, Warehouse, Merchandising, Marketing, and Accounting to maintain positive customer experiences

    • Maintain product knowledge to encourage upselling

    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • 2+ years customer care experience preferred
    • Call Center experience involving phone, email and live chat
    • Knowledge of anime/comic book industry a plus
    • Computer literacy is essential
    • Ability to maintain a calm and positive demeanour in all situations
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Ability to multitask
    • Attention to detail
    • Team-oriented attitude
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Excellent punctuality and attendance record
