Our ideal Health Care Aide has a friendly personality, patience, a consistently positive attitude, and communicate well to clients of all types. They are responsible, hold themselves to the highest professional standards and is able to handle challenging behavior.

Duties:

Assists clients with activities of daily living

Such as feeding, lifts and transfers, bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, and toileting.

Administers medication to clients and provides medication reminders, in accordance with established policy and delegation.

Completes and maintains progress reports in Alayacare software

Our candidates will need:

Satisfactory Criminal Reference Check including the Vulnerable Sector Search

Class 5 BC drivers’ license and reliable vehicle

Certificate/Diploma such as HCA or CSW

Vaccinated

Must be able to work weekend
