Work Location: HCA duties - Chilliwack and Office Administrative duties from our Abbotsford office.
Job Summary
Split position - HCA / client care and Office Administration (half-time)
Duties: Health Care Aide-Chilliwack
(up to 15-20 hours per week; must be able to work Saturday & Sunday split shifts)
Any aspect of assistance needed in our client’s Care Plan such as personal care, physical assistance, companionship, home support, specialty care, meal preparation
Specialty care (i.e. Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Chronic Conditions)
Duties: Administrative-Abbotsford Office
(10-15 Hours / Week to start)
Answering client communication
Staff communication
Assisting with HCA applicants, hiring and training, orientation
Working with your Care Team to coordinate care
Other admin duties
Qualifications for this position
Current recognized HCA training certificate
3+ years of HCA experience
Administrative experience - general or medical
Current certificate in standard first-aid and CPR
Ability to work well in a team
Exceptional communication skills, both in-person and on telephone
Ability to multi-task
High level of computer literacy
Police Criminal Reference Check
Ability to work independently and make decisions with the support of your team
Must be physically and mentally fit to handle the demands of caregiving
