Right at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate In-Home Caregivers in Iowa City to help a 37-year-old gentleman. He is paraplegic as a result of a car accident. We are looking for a skilled caregiver to assist him with personal cares, catheter, Hoyer lift, light housekeeping, companionship and pet care since he has a small friendly dog named Tilly (for emotional support). We are hiring recurrent caregivers for 1st shift (6am-2pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) and 3rd shift (10pm-6am-awaken overnight).

Compensation and Benefits for a PRN Caregiver in Iowa City:

Provide personal care- showers, dressing, transfers/Hoyers

Provide assistance with feeding, medication reminders, meal planning

Follow agency policies, procedures, and protocols

Provide companionship and engaging activities as appropriate

Provide transportation as needed and outings
