    Job Description:

    A homemaker and companion care professional provides for the maintenance of a safe and clean environment. Performs the various housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and companionship activities for clients in their residences.

    Responsibilities:

    Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and/or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms

    Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

    Performs errands and/or provides transportation

    Provides companionship for the client. This includes accompanying client on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.

    Assists with bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulation assistance

    Qualifications:

    Must be 18 years of age

    Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

    Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check

    A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance preferred

    High school diploma or GED preferred

    Experience is not required, as initial and ongoing training is provided
