As a Loader/Unloader, you will be the backbone of our logistics and supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently and safely load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are handled correctly and delivered on time, contributing to the smooth flow of operations in our warehouse. Responsibilities: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other transportation vehicles. Ensure that items are properly stacked and secured to prevent damage during transit. Use appropriate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to handle heavy items. Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify that the correct items and quantities are being loaded or unloaded according to packing lists or shipping orders. Document and report any discrepancies, damages, or other issues to the supervisor. Sort and organize items within the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and retrieval. Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment, keeping aisles and work areas clear of obstacles. Work closely with other team members to coordinate the loading and unloading process. Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Assist in other warehouse duties as needed, such as picking and packing orders or conducting inventory counts. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Follow company policies and industry regulations to maintain compliance. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is beneficial but not required. Experience with operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
