As a full-time Lead Caregiver, you will work in the office and out in the field with other caregivers and clients. Responsibilities of this position include:
Introduce new caregivers to clients and help new caregivers make a good first impression
Mentor caregivers for success – including training caregivers
Assist with re-assessments for our clients
Cover all “fill in” shifts that fall within your hours of availability
Build relationships with all client’s and contribute to their general satisfaction
General caregiving duties including:
Assistance with bathing and dressing, grooming
Toileting assistance
Ambulation and repositioning
Use of a gait belt and hoyer lift
Hospice/End of life care
You may also do household chores and domestic duties such as:
Laundry
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Transportation
In office, you handle administrative jobs when you are not needed out in the field. These responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Triaging phone calls
Assisting individuals who enter the lobby
Filing and copying
General Cleaning duties
Contributing to social media platforms – including sourcing on-line reviews
You will simply assist where you are needed and do it with a friendly and positive and can-do spirit. This may also include representing the company at different community or networking events.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 18 years of age
Valid drivers license with clean driving record
Ability to be licensed as a Home Care Aide, including passing the State regulated background check
At least 3 years of professional caregiving experience
Reliable transportation
The ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a daily basis
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
WORK SCHEDULE
This is a full-time position. As someone who works in the field and the office, you must be available to work a total of 5 days a week, one of those days being either Saturday or Sunday.
COMPENSATION
The pay is $15-16/hour, based on experience.
