    JOB DESCIRPTION

    CMG Nursing is hiring a new part-time Basic Nursing Assistant instructor for our CNA Training program for evening and weekend sessions. CMG Nursing is a new program that is committed to providing student CNAs the best training possible by offering:

    CMG Nursing is partnered with the American Red Cross, and is a certified provider of Red Cross Training. CMG utilizes the CNA curriculum of the American Red Cross, including both lecture-style and online-learning options to best meet our students' needs.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    A Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license to practice in Illinois.

    Have completed the IDPH Train-the-Trainer course, or able to successfully do so once job offer is accepted.

    Two years of clinical nursing experience.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    Experience teaching and a passion to educate.

    A positive attitude and a sense of humor.

    Ability to teach in our facility and clinical partners in the north suburbs of Chicago.

    DUTIES

    Interface with online learning platform, assigning learning modules to students.

    Reviewing student progress reports and prompt students who are falling behind.

    Be available to support students and answer questions outside of normal class hours.

    Run in-person student orientations and participate in graudations.

    Offer 40 hours of in-person skills training for each 7-week session, as required by IDPH.

    Assess students for required skills.

    Arrange and schedule 40 hours of clinical experience for each 7-week session with area clinical partners.

    Be present for all clinical hours to support students, problem-solve, and act as primary point of contact for clinical partner facilities.

    Support student needs throughout the course to ensure success.

    Report, in a timely manner students who successfully complete the CNA program to the State of Illinois to ensure students are eligible to schedule a seat for Illinois CNA exam.

    Other administrative responsibilities as determined by supervisor.
