    Position: Care Supervisor Reports to: General Manager

    What to you need to be an excellent Candidate?

    • Passion for caring for the vulnerable populations within our community and improving their lives. Quality Client care is our #1 priority and everything we do is focused on ensuring we meet or exceed all our client’s needs.

    • High school graduate or equivalent with 3 years of business experience showing growing responsibilities including supervisory roles.

    • Interest to build and grow strong teams and relationships.

    • Proficient in Microsoft office applications with strong organizational abilities.

    • Excellent interpersonal relations abilities and telephone skills.

    • Highly organized with attention to detail.

    • Self-starter, work independently, ability to prioritize and demonstrate sound judgment.

    • Demonstrated ability to manage personnel.

    • Knowledge of common medical terminology.

    • Experience within the health care or the home care industry and scheduling highly preferred.

    • Industry relationships a plus and ability to build and maintain caregiver and client relationships.

    • Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

    • Ability to work fulltime Monday thru Friday.

    • Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours (rolling shared on-call nights and weekends)

    • Must have a valid CA driver’s license

    • Pass the state required LiveScan background test

    • Clean TB test

    • Ability to obtain and maintain state HCA

    • Pass random drug tests as required

    Job Description/Requirements:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Provide leadership and management for the success of the company.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Strong communication and problem solving skills.

    • Implement the polices and procedures of the company.

    • Answers telephone, take inquiries and/or messages using good telephone technique. Maintain Inside sales performance.

    • Helps maintain client records for the Agency to ensure compliance.

    • Maintains full employee personnel records for the Agency ensuring compliance with state requirements, workers’ compensation and other legal or regulatory requirements.

    • Organizes and directs the administrative functions of the office, data collection, record maintenance and employee on boarding and training practices.

    • Ensure that home care schedules are complete and accurate.

    • Handles all scheduling duties pertaining to client cases with appropriate field employees, making all follow through calls necessary to produce an effective, smooth flowing schedule. Ensuring every shift is covered is of the highest priority.

    • Manage last minute call outs by finding appropriate coverage for every client.

    • Review system dashboard daily to ensure all caregivers are working as scheduled.

    • Develop and maintain a caregiver staff to fulfill active client needs and plan for a pool of caregivers.

    • Communicate with referral sources, case managers, clients, client families, to provide an excellent customer service experience.

    • Coordinate and communicate all client care and caregiver status with management on a regular basis.

    • Maintains and tracks needed office supplies.

    • Updates Clearcare software for both clients and caregivers. Clearcare experience a plus.

    • Driving recruiting, hiring, and training of caregiver staff.

    • Documenting any disciplinary actions/recommendations and communicating to management in a timely manner.

    • Implements field employee safety and training programs.

    • Attends appropriate office meetings.

    • Performs on-call duties as needed.

    • May be required to fill in for a caregiver staff as needed/required.

    NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    · Other general office and clerical functions.

    · Other duties assigned by Management

    WORKING ENVIRONMENT

    · Works primarily out of the local office.
