    Position Purpose:

    The AR Clerk will monitor receivables, record payments, process ACH/credit card payments, monitor claims status, and follow with up payers to keep accounts current.

    The Accounts Receivable Clerk role is 24-32 hours a week. The position is work from home with 1 day a week at the Seattle office in Northgate.

    Accounts Receivable Clerk Responsibilities

    Record receivable payments, make deposits, process and reconcile credit card payments

    Process customer invoices in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that appropriate analysis of receivables aging is adequately reviewed and considered by management

    Manage delinquent accounts and works with clients and payors to ensure timely payment of invoices.

    Reconcile receivables, fax out rebills and work with Bookkeepers to make calls to collect on outstanding receivables.

    Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.

    Communicate with owners, co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.

    Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instruction

    Assist when needed to answer phones and other on-going operational needs of the company

    Mail certified invoices and deliver them as required.

    Endorse warrants or money orders and prepare account deposit tickets.

    Accounts Receivable Clerk Qualifications

    Three or more years of accounts receivable/customer service experience, health care setting preferred.

    AA degree in business preferred

    Detail-oriented, able to manage concurrent tasks

    Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a collaborative and constructive manner.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Flexibility and a positive attitude is essential!

    Self-starter with desire to learn and take the initiative

    QuickBooks Expertise

    Intermediate MS Excel.

    Experience with collections preferred

    Experience will CMS 1500 Forms and Billing Government Institutions (Veterans Administration) an added plus
