Together you pick out an outfit that makes her feel pretty, dry her hair, and help her with her watch and bracelets. As you make her breakfast, she entertains you with stories about her mom cooking over a wood-burning range and the delicious oatmeal that waited for her every morning. She helps you with the dishes and talks about wishing she had the time to bake. You suggest that there is time today to do something quick. The two of you decide to do her applesauce cake recipe, gather the ingredients, and begin making the cake. Once the cake is in the oven, you finish the cleaning while the house begins to smell delicious! Your client is telling you all about the times she brought her applesauce cake to celebrations.
