Looking for someone who can work with a great female client on her country farm, provide safety supervision, stimulation and conversation, cueing and activities for a lovely person with early onset dementia (traumatic brain injury). Must love animals, love music and be able to bring cheerfulness. There are three burly dogs live in the home and she has a companion dog that stays by her side. There are horses and a lovely view of the farm. Spouse is looking for two to 3 days per week to get to work and needs comfort knowing that she is in good hands.Please Note: We can also work around another job and fill your week up with other hours if desired! Requirements and responsibilities:• Certification as a HCA or CNA
• Must have a valid driver's license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds• CPR/FA, Food Handlers, TB Test• Pass a written competency evaluation, drug screen and a nationwide background check• Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
