Responsibilities and Duties:

Performs companion care activities that assist the client / resident to have an enjoyable life which include, but are not limited to:

Companionship and friendly conversations

Setting up social functions and visits

Participate in hobbies and crafts

Reading books, periodicals, and newspapers

Play games and cards.

Watch movies or television.

Help write letters

Arrange appointments

Communicate with family members

Qualifications and Skills:

High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.

Possess a valid driver’s license or State ID
