Responsibilities and Duties

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions

Taking clients on errands or to medical appointments

Ambulation/Transfers

Light housekeeping (sweep, load dishwasher, change sheets, do laundry, etc.)

Personal hygiene and dressing

Possible patient-specific activities such as medication reminders, exercises, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

A caring demeanor and ability to anticipate what people might need

Hustle and heart: Willingness to do what it takes to save the day

High school graduate or GED preferred

Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job

Valid driver’s license and insured car

Previous care experience preferred (including caring for your own family)
