Right at Home West LA based on 14th Street in Santa Monica provides non-medical home care in client’s homes. SPANISH SPEAKING Caregiver with a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license is needed for 12-hour shifts for a female client.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities/Duties) Duties may include helping them dress, meal preparation, bathing, helping them walk from one area to another, medication reminders, and/or companionship (taking walks together, playing games, gardening). You may drive clients to a doctor’s appointment, do errands for them, and do some light housekeeping.

Personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):

Personal hygiene (assisting in the bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)

Ambulation/Transfers

Eating

Dressing/Shaving

Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions

Accompany client on errands or medical appointments.

Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathroom

You enjoy being a companion to an elderly person, help them prepare meals, take walks with them, help keep the house tidy, and give them a reason to smile every day

You are reliable and a great communicator

We offer competitive pay (Between $19-20/hour for this specific position) and a comprehensive bonus program that you'll really love. If you wish, can make a lot of extra income! Shifts range from 4 to 12 hours per day, we have shifts in Inglewood, Torrance, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Malibu, etc. All the way south to Long Beach and north to Woodland Hills/Canoga park. Right at Home offers our caregivers flexible schedules including days, overnights and weekends.
